Deep Oscillation Therapy creates an electrostatic field via the therapists hand (or applicators) which has a direct action on the skin and connective tissue. DOT can enhance the effect of treatment when combined with massage, scar therapy and/or MLD. The sensation for the client is a gentle, pleasant, deep vibration in the skin and tissues below. DOT can help alleviate pain; reduce inflammation; help manage lymphoedema/lipoedema and reduce fibrosis.
